Privacy statement
Version October 2026
This is an English translation of our Dutch privacy statement. If the two differ, the Dutch version applies.
Who we are
Stynn is a landscaping company in South Holland and a trade name of Jonge Hovenier. Contact: info@stynn.nl, +31 6 81 33 93 26. Registered address: Spui 420, 2511 BZ The Hague, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce number: 81868901. VAT number: NL003612349B34.
What data we use
When you request a quote, we use what you fill in: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), postcode, information about your garden and your wishes, how you would like us to contact you and, for a business request, the company name. We also note on which page you filled in the form and in which language.
Why, and on what legal basis
We only use your data to answer your request and to prepare a quote. We do this because you ask us to, before any contract exists (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without your name and email address we cannot reply; the other fields help us give you better advice.
Who else sees your data
Our website runs on Netlify, Inc. Netlify processes the form and sends us your request by email. That email arrives in our business mailbox at Google Workspace (Google). Netlify and Google are based in the United States and take part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the standard contractual clauses in their data processing agreements also apply. We never sell your data and do not share it with anyone else.
How long we keep your data
If your request does not lead to an assignment, we delete your data no later than 12 months after your last contact with us. If you become a customer, we keep the data we need for our accounts for 7 years, as Dutch law requires.
Cookies and statistics
This website does not set cookies. To see how the site is used, we count visits with Umami: statistics without cookies and without data that could identify you. We see, for example, which pages are viewed, which websites visitors come from and how often the call, WhatsApp or quote buttons are clicked. What you type into the form never goes to Umami. Umami is run for us by Studio Barbanson, who built this website. We also measure how quickly pages load: your browser then sends only the load times, the page and whether you use a phone or a computer to Studio Barbanson, with no data about you.
Fonts are served from our own server.
Your rights
You may see your data, have it corrected or have it deleted. You can also object, or ask us to transfer your data. Email info@stynn.nl and we will respond within a month.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
